Gary Trippeer CEO Gary Trippeer, pilot and enterprenuer, created Solo Flight School to provide a positive learning experience for students
who want to pursue aviation for fun or business. He visualized a place where each student was treated with respect and
where the instruction process was logical and cost effective. He wanted to ensure that all aircraft was safe, reliable,
and well maintained. Bringing a wealth of experience from many industries, Gary's vision is reality at Solo Flight
School. Pete Boeck CFI, CFII Pete Boeck's passion for flying developed during his
teenage years while he watched his brother fly for the U.S. Marines. Pete's formal flight training came about while
he studied liberal arts at at UC Davis. Later, he received an MBA at Humbolt University. Now retired from a successful
career as a builder and developer, Pete loves sharing his love of flight with students. "As long as there's
someone who can motivate and teach you, there's always more to learn." Herb Lingle
Aerial Photographer, Tail Dragger, Commerical Award winning aerial photograhper, author, and pilot, Herb Lingle loves to fly. Trained in a Tailor Craft over two decades ago, Herb has flown tail draggers, float planes, and helicopters all over the world. One of his all time favorite planes to fly is our fully restored open cockpit WWII Bi-Plane. In fact, Herb ferried the Stearman from Southern Texas to Northern California and is publishing a children's book about the experience. Treat yourself or a friend to the experience of a lifetime, and ride in our 1941 Stearman.
Jim "EJ" Indreb
CFI, FAA Examiner-Gliders Jim Indreb has been flying for 40 years and has accumulated 15,000 hours of flight time. Jim and his wife Connie are experienced glider pilots and instructors. On most weekends "EJ" will be in the cockpit of our 1941 Stearman Biplane or in our Schweizer glider 232, taking people for the flight experience of their lives. Nancy Brier Director of Marketing Nancy Brier brings marketing experience from midtown
Manhattan to the undiscovered jewel of Lake County, California. "I love the enthusiam at Solo Flight School.
The students, staff, and instructors have a passion for life and learning that I haven't seen anywhere else. Nancy
holds a BA in English and a BS in Education.
